Ancestral Healing
Growing up I was blessed to have a mother who was always keenly interested in family history. My mother still does spend a lot of her free time researching and delving into many threads of our lineages here in Ireland and has devoted many years to reviving many stories of my ancestors. So I suppose as it is said, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Isn’t it easy to focus on what we don’t have in common with our families especially our parents but we choose them for a reason and we must dig deeper to find what has woven us together rather than what has separated us…
The Preventative Work
One of the main reasons I left the day job as a Social Worker where I worked in the area of Mental Health and Children’s Services for many years was because we were mainly only treating symptoms and rarely had the resources to truly get to the source of people’s difficulties. So I left that world with the intention to engage in work with people that was preventative. Building people’s capacities so they never had to engage with a system that would only ever manage their symptoms. Over the past six years of engaging in this type of work here is what I have learned..

Womb Whispers
I remember when I first went through my spiritual awakening & was feeling so exhausted that every day I would pray that I would return to full health & vitality. I laugh back on that practice now as I see the distortion in how I wanted my body to perform. What I thought full health & vitality for a woman was. I was simply devastated that I could no longer do all the things I felt I needed to be doing…
